Traditional Tantra Yoga is a deeply meditative and gentle yoga practice using a combination of Breath, Asana (Postures) and Bandhas to calm the mind, create energy and clear energetic blockages in the body so we can heal and restore ourselves.
I will guide you through the Tri Dosha Balancing series which is a powerful series which works through the entire body to create a sense of calm and equanimity. We will use the breath as a tool to completly calm the mind and thus release stresses held within the body
Because of its emphasis on relaxation and balance the TriDosha teaches how to get deeper into the āsana without straining or stretching the body beyond its capacities. In this way the āsana develops bodily awareness that allows one to practice yoga according to one’s own level of flexibility and a deeping of your practice by simply letting go.
Each posture is held for 2-3mins in order to allow the body and breath to settle.
This will be an all levels class with everyone welcome .
